Funding available for Oil and LPG boilers – It’s time to act now.

Over recent years most energy efficiency schemes have concentrated on the more traditional mains gas properties, but, as the Government’s quest to turn the country green gathers even more momentum, rural, ‘off gas’, households are now under the spotlight with funding available for both Oil and LPG boilers.

Energy Alliances’ experience, knowledge and track record means that we are ideally placed, with the necessary resources to consistently deliver Energy Company Obligation (ECO) based funding to households that need it.   ECO is a government backed scheme that is funded by the larger energy suppliers to decrease carbon emissions through better insulated homes and lower heating bills.  We have worked alongside the likes of Npower, SSE, EON and EDF since we were founded in 2010, and have an impeccable record in delivering this type of scheme.

The funding scheme criteria is listed below:

         Oil/ LPG Boiler 9 years old or older?
         Private tenant or homeowner?
         Someone residing in the property in receipt of benefits such as pension credit or tax credits.

If the answer is “yes” to all three, then we can help. Our team is in place to take applicants through the criteria and establish eligibility and to take the application to the next stage, if applicable. With most improvements installed in just one day the benefits are immediate whilst disruption is kept low. The message has to be, do not delay.

The funding amount is confirmed once an EPC assessment has been completed. This information, along with the size and type of property dictates how much funding is available based on the lifetime saving of carbon that can be achieved by replacing the boiler. The funding amount varies depends on the property type, size and EPC.  Energy Alliance always aim to fully fund the installation, but occasionally we may need a customer contribution to cover any funding shortfall, which will be fully disclosed at the earliest opportunity with absolutely no obligation to go forward..
